So, a few weeks ago the new TommyxGIGI line was dropped, but it has been so crazy I haven’t had a time to fully go through it. MAN, is it unreal. I don’t think I have ever seen a clothing line that perfectly sums me up.
The line is filled with denim, bombers, patches, sneakers and so much more. It has such a 1960s vibe, which is so my style. If I could I would buy the whole collection- everything is just so awesome and fun.
Here are my top 5 pieces from the collection (you have no idea how hard it was to chose!!)
The pieces are so fun, and very retro. I adore everything Tommy does, and Gigi really took this collection to the next level. You are sure to see these looks all summer and I couldn’t be happier.
What do you think of the collection, let me know in the comments below.
Prints! Leopard! Cheetah! Zebra! Fun designs and prints are always my go-to fashion item. I would prefer a print over a plain top, it gives me more spunk and I can really show my wild side.
I always go for cheetah, I think it’s so fun and I never get bored of it. It is the main item of your look and I dress around it. I have cheetah shoes, skirts, jackets- pretty much any item of clothing I see in the cheetah print.
On me: Vintage Cheetah bomber, M by Mendocino dress, Boohoo booties
This outfit is a super fun look to wear out! The jacket is what makes the outfit, and wearing all black helps it be the main focus.
My favourite Cheetah pieces RIGHT NOW:
- Animal Print Sweater
It may be a mens sweatshirt but as a girl you can totally pull this off! Oversized, and cozy, pair this over leggings and a jean jacket for a fun look.
2. Nike Runners
How cool are these cheetah print runners? I would seriously wear them NON stop, they’re spunky and are white so you can pair them with anything!
3. Cheetah Print Jacket
This is a STATEMENT piece, and looks so warm. This will change any outfit from ordinary to extraordinary- seriously!
Wear this piece around the house, or for a lazy sunday. It will seriously up your comfort game.

HELL YA PEOPLE, today is International Women’s Day! A day for us to #BeBoldForChange.
I don’t normally voice my personal opinions on this blog about world news, politics, etc. But today, I wanted to stand in solidarity with all my fellow girls and ladies out there.
For those who are Canadian, we are pretty lucky. We have access to free health care, we are able to go to school, we are able to wear what WE want. These things are a privilege, and we should never forget that.
What values are we fighting for? Equality, justice, respect!
Why is it that in Nepal or Ethiopia girls can’t get an education? There are over TEN nations out there where girl’s education is deemed less important then a man’s. Why is it that some people don’t believe we have a right to do what we want with OUR OWN BODY. Why are we unable to earn a fair an EQUAL wage? These questions, to me personally, are insane. A women is able to do the exact same thing a man can do, and it’s time we get the justice we deserve.
We have fought for SO much, and today is a day we see how far we have come and how much further we have to go.
Support your fellow women out there! Happy International Women’s day.
Okay, so it is sunny in Toronto which makes it being Monday a tiny bit better…but let’s be real it’s still Monday. It’s also Toronto’s birthday, so HBD you’re now 183. Super old. ANYWAY because it is nice out, it’s time to bring out the coatigan which I have been patiently waiting to wear since October!!!!
The coatigan is pretty much an article of clothing that can be work as a coat because it is thick, or even just as a cardigan. It’s a genius idea, and I adore mine.
On me: Mavi jeans, Brandy Mellville top, Pink Martini coatigan, Adidas running shoes
I adore camo, I love how the green is a rather neutral colour and I can pair it with anything. The graphic t-shirt is also a classic, and I feel like this look mixes different styles to make one cool look.
What do you think of this blend of coat and cardigan? Let me know in the comments below.
Ok people… the ready to wear fashion shows are slowly coming to the end, and WOW how I have loved everything. From Marc Jacobs‘ insane show in Manhattan, to the fact that VELOUR IS BACK PPL!!
I have adored every show, and I can honestly say that I can not wait for Fall to come. The fashion trends are so wild, we have coloured fur, over sized EVERYTHING, layering, silks and SO MUCH MORE.
Nothing gives me more joy then watching to the fashion shows, and obviously Vogue Runway is able to help my serious addiction (hello, they have a live app.)
My favourite line would have to be Anna Sui, her clothing is so fantastic, and she paves the way for mixing different materials and patterns together. Rachel Zoe‘s line was more my every day taste, with off the shoulder dresses, sequins and velvet!
I especially love the Vogue Runway because there are so many designers I have never heard of before, and of course fall in love with! Check out: Naeem Khan, Lisa Perry, and Sally LaPointe.
These artists express so much creativity, and a lot of my everyday style comes from watching the shows.
What was your favourite show to watch? Let me know in the comments below.
