Tunic Time

There is nothing I love more than a simple tunic. They are such a versatile piece of clothing, that you can easily layer with. It is all about the layers this winter season, keeping you warm and stylish.

I got my tunic from Sense Of Independence  but I will let you know where you can pick up cheap and cheerful tunic’s at the end of this post!

On me: Hem & Thread  tunic, Levi’s jeans, Aldo boots, Zara scarf

Now that it’s getting colder I can easily wear a plain white fitted tee under the tunic as an extra layer! Also, my scarf keeps me super warm and matches the outfit perfectly with the neutral colours.

Hat Game

So, the first snow just happened in Toronto. It is -2, and trust me I am NOT happy about it. I was enjoying the spring weather far to much, and mentally just not ready for the cold!

When it gets cold out, it’s time to focus on your cold weather accessories. Think: hats, gloves, scarves. I picked up an awesome cream hat with patches, that really goes with everything!

On me: Monkey Tail hat, Levi’s jeans, Urban Outfitters sweatshirt, Aldo boots

I love the colour of this hat, it will truly go with anything! And of course the patches and faux fur pom pom complete the look. Spice up your hats this winter ladies! It’s the best way to have fun with the awful cold.

Below are some fun hats that are on my wish list this season!

Raptors Swag

So, my boys are back in action! If you don’t know who I am referring to…it’s obviously the Toronto Raptors. Watching basketball is one of my favourite sports to cheer along too, and the clothing is way more fun than any other sport (think hockey, baseball etc.)

I have a lot of favourite players on the Raps, but I am at my ultimate fan girl with Terrence Ross. Some may doubt his playing skill, but this season he has been kicking some serious ASS.

So, with a game against the Cavs tonight I decided to show some support and do a post about my Rap swag.

On me: Raptors jersey, Topshop jeans, Air Jordan aqua 8s

I love my Aqua 8s with this outfit, the old school jersey and the colours in the shoe match so perfectly!

OK Suede

I am going to apologize in advance of this blog post for my wrinkled dress, tad embarrassing but the dress is so adorable I had to share!

OK so, suede is back- as is everything that is semi 80s and 90s related. Who can blame the trends, the 80s and 90s were so funky (think bell sleeves, chokers, SUEDE- hello awesomeness.)

So this suede dress (which you will see below) is an amazing piece, with the lace up adding a little 2016 funk into it. It’s in a camel colour, which is so in for Fall. This dress is able to be dressed up or down, I paired it with high black boots for a more night time look. It would be a perfect dinner time look with black booties.

On me: Necessary Clothing dress, Zara boots

I would rock this dress for a GNO, think a fancy dinner and drinks! I adore everything about this dress, and how it mixes in so many different styles into one classy mini dress.

Lets get Hole-y

Ok….so this might be basic (but if you know me, then you know I am) but the ripped t-shirt trend is my favourite. It’s easy and funky, and if you’re in the mood you can totally make a shirt by yourself.

My go to online store (necessary clothing) has some great hole shirts, for not crazy prices! My secret is heading to Urban Outfitters in the mens section, because their ripped shirts are awesome, over sized and SO comfy.

On me: Necessary Clothing jeans, Necessary Clothing top, Aldo heels

I love this outfit, I think it is so extreme with the holes, and the pointed heels put the finishing touches. Check out some classic stores (Wal Mart, Winners), and you can even make your own shirt like this without spending so much money!
