Pablo x Toronto

So, when Yeezy came into the city I obviously went to the concert- and while there I found the most perfect camo shirt. Camo has been back every season since 2013, and I hope it does not go anywhere. It is such a perfect fall look, especially when you have a touch of Kanye West in your outfit.

I love the high crew neck on this shirt, and with the Pablo writing on the back- and the special Toronto shoutout is the ultimate fall top. This is my running around outfit, I don’t want to be fancy all the time but I would still like to look funky. Pair this look with runners and you’re all set!

On me: Custom camo top, Urban Outfitters black high waisted jeans, Air Jordan Oreo 4s

Fall Boot Haul

What is my most favourite part of fall? The shoes!! Most specifically all the amazing boots you can rock. So, I am here to tell you exactly what boots I have purchased, and which boots are on my wish list (which is getting rather long…)

So-what is everyone rocking? The high suede boot. I was super lucky and grabbed mine on sale(!!) at Zara, which they still are showing online.

These stretch heel boots are SO comfortable, and can be worn with anything! I pair them with a tee-shirt dress to go out, or black jeans to wear to work.

My guilty pleasure is Boohoo  it has free shipping, no duties and comes so quickly! They also have great prices, and always the funkiest selection of shoes. I got my hands on two pairs of show stopper boots, which I can’t wait to start wearing as it gets cooler outside.

These velvet booties are so gorgeous, and at such an amazing price! Velvet is so in this season, and what could be more fun then rocking them on your feet? You’re able to wear them with anything since they’re black, and will add a bit of funk to your outfit!

Screen Shot 2016-09-21 at 10.53.42 PM.png

It is so true what they say, everything old becomes new again! These 90s inspired boots are so fun (and so Spice Girls) I couldn’t not purchase them. Rocking with a baby doll dress and choker I will really belong in 1993- but the style is so ‘in’ and I couldn’t be happier.

OK so I have two awesome items on my wish list, and they are two pairs of awesome boots.

These lace side up ankle boots are so funky! Lace up is everywhere these days, so why shouldn’t you be wearing it on your feet? Pair with jeans and a basic tee, and your outfit is complete with these fab booties.

Screen Shot 2016-09-21 at 11.00.21 PM.png

Look no further for the greatest day time boot! I adore the cut out, it adds a fun flare to these moto inspired boots. The patent leather is also fun and different and not your typical biker boot, which is soo over done.

DIY T-Shirt

SO every girl across the world saw Kendall and Kylie rock the scandalous extra deep V t-shirt this past month. Following this, everyone then attempted to create their own version (including myself.)

If you haven’t seen the shirts on the Jenner sister’s you can take a peek below:

I am not that creative, so it took me a few tries to get the perfect cut out. I would suggest picking up some cheap graphics at a local vintage store (think black market, or even Winners) before taking on the one you want to cut out!

On me: Forever 21 graphic T-shirt, Necessary Clothing jeans

Let me know in the comments below what you think of the extreme deep v look.

Fall Fashion Top 5 Must Haves

So, the best season of the year is almost upon us! Fall is the most basic season of the year, but I honestly do not care. Cozying up in a massive knit sweater with a Starbucks in hand is exactly what I want to do when the weather starts getting colder.

So lets review what is exactly in for Fall 2016 (and what you need to go out and buy ASAP)

  1. Statement Fur

This could not be more exciting, nothing I love more then a show stopping fur jacket. I have a cheetah cropped vintage piece that I adore bringing out (and I know all eyes are on me!)

Screen Shot 2016-09-13 at 3.21.14 PM.png

Pink ombre fur coat, nothing is more out there then this piece. This jacket is carried at The Store On Queen, located in downtown Toronto. Do not worry, they have a whole bunch of other ombre coloured jackets!

Screen Shot 2016-09-13 at 3.24.26 PM.png

Yes, pastels were a S/S ’16 style, but who says you can’t wear a mint pastel faux fur coat in the Fall? Long enough to keep you warm, and brighten up your day this jacket is the perfect piece to spice up a boring outfit.

In case you were interested in rocking cheetah, like I do- The Bay is offering an awesome crop Cheetah jacket. Get your hands on it now!

2. Off The Shoulder

Yes, it is getting colder but it seems as though the cold shoulder and off the shoulder trends are not going anywhere. It is the perfect item in your closet to change up your normal style, and try something new.

Screen Shot 2016-09-13 at 4.05.22 PM.png

Dare to Bare off the shoulder shirt combines so many of this seasons must wear characteristics: The bright red colour to the ruffled sleeves and off the shoulder make this top a fashionista’s dream!

Screen Shot 2016-09-13 at 4.08.12 PM.png

This off the shoulder knit is a perfect basic for this season. Green is the go-to colour this fall and the overlap gives this top another fun layer.

Screen Shot 2016-09-13 at 4.05.10 PM.png

This bold off the shoulder top with elbow cut outs is the perfect piece to take you from day to night! Rock a pair of flats and then switch to boots, this shirt is so fun. Especially with the flared long sleeves, there are so many fun features to this little black top!

3. T-shirt Dress

Layering is so in this season, especially with a white tee, or even a graphic. I adore when I find pre-layered items because it takes away half the challenge! Layering with a dress is all the rage this season (think Kylie Jenner)

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.29.03 PM.png

This graphic t-shirt dress is a perfect look for a casual day at work, it is so chic and spices up the classic ‘little black dress’ look.

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.31.53 PM.png

For some 90s throwback there is the classic ribbed black dress, so Rachel Green, who is my biggest style inspo. I love this look for fall, throw on a choker and a bomber and you’re set for a night out!

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.34.27 PM.png

I absolutely LOVE this silk number, unfortunately it does not come with the under shirt although i pair mine with a fitted white tee, and it is so perfect for a sunday brunch with the girls.

4. Patches

EVERYTHING is patched this season, and why do I love it? Firstly, it makes me feel like a kid again! Secondly it is so DIY! I am all for the chic jean jacket with pins and patches, and its not worthy dropping dollar bills when you can make it yourself. Pick up some patches from Etsy, or Alieexpress and sew on to old jackets the design you want. If this is too complicated/ or you’re too lazy don’t worry- I have pre-made styles below!

This purse is so wicked, and can make any outfit a tiny bit more special!

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.47.27 PM.png

This Etsy page has a bunch of one-of-a-kind jean jackets, to ensure that only you will have this awesome piece of clothing!

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.51.42 PM.png

This bomber has patches, and glitter and will make any bomber more exciting to rock. If you’re not into the vintage patches, this one is for you!

5. Velvet

As we know, the 90s has come back in a big way these past few years. Welcoming another old school trend back is velvet. This fall everything is velvet and I could not be more thrilled, it is the softest fabric and just so fun to wear!

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.58.00 PM.png

This slip is perfect for the fall weather and the colour is so striking, it’s guaranteed to turn heads!

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.58.38 PM.png

This dress combines fall floral’s with velvet in a long sleeve mini that will guarantee to keep you warm as the weather gets colder. Pair it with high waisted boots and you’re ready to slay!

Screen Shot 2016-09-14 at 9.59.16 PM.png

This dress says I am ready for a night out! It comes with the wrap around scarf, and the colour is so memorable you really can’t go wrong.

These styles are all so fun and awesome for the coming fall weather, and allow you to spice up your regular fall style.

Let me know what you think is a great style trend this season in the comments below.

The Lace Up

The lace up trend arrived last year, and it does not seem like it is going anywhere for this season! I absolutely love it, I think it adds a little spunk to any outfit- and grunge is my ultimate favourite look.

Thanks to Instagram, I stumbled upon a Canadian designer who is selling her lace up tops on an Etsy store, Rewound Co and I could not be more obsessed.

The shirts span from re-worked vintages, to a crew neck for fall (which is in my cart right now.) The clothing is awesome, and nothing better than supporting a fellow Canadian!

On Me: Rewound Co Black Sabbath shirt, Urban Outfitters High Waisted Jeans, Zara Suede Boots

This look is going to be my go-to for fall and I couldn’t be more obsessed with it! From rocking boots, to a pair of sneakers you can easily dress it up.

Let me know in the comments below your feelings on this trend!
